Bovada Casino Review

Bovada may well be the biggest name in online gambling in the United States today. Their brand name is fairly well recognized among players not just for their online casino, but also for their other associated products, such as sports betting operations. They are a highly reputable company with a long history of ethical behavior. But does the reality of Bovada live up to the reputation? Let’s take a closer look at what Bovada has to offer online slots players.
In September 2016, Bovada Poker was shut down and changed over to Ignition Casino. Nothing has really changed for Bovada poker players, as they are able to move their accounts across to Ignition Casino pretty seamlessly, and even claim a new juicy deposit bonus in the process.

Bovada Casino Slots Games

One of the most exciting parts of Bovada is the fact that they pull in games from multiple online gambling software providers. That means that you can not only play slots from Realtime Gaming here, but also games from Betsoft and even Rival in the Bovada casino.
The Betsoft games are well-known for their 3D graphics and cinematic presentations, features that make these 3D slots a truly immersive experience. Many of these games are popular even among players who don’t normally love slots, as they’re just fun to play. A few of the highlights in the Betsoft collection are:
  • Black Gold
  • Event Horizon
  • It Came From Venus
  • Mamma Mia
  • Rock Star
  • The Slotfather
  • Viking Age
There are plenty of other slots well worth trying in the Bovada lineup as well. These are just a few of the many games we think you might want to check out at Bovada:
  • As the Reels Turn
  • Coins of Olympus
  • Fast Lane
  • Heavyweight Gold
  • Heroes’ Realm
  • Major Moolah
  • Birds of Fury
  • Chase the Cheese
  • Cash Money Mermaids

Bovada Casino Promotions

The biggest promotion at Bovada is their slots welcome bonus, which offers a 100% match on up to four deposits. Each bonus can be redeemed for up to $500, making it possible to earn as much as $2,000 in bonus funds.
The terms and conditions of this bonus are pretty fair for players, especially compared to many other online casino bonuses. There’s a 25x wagering requirement on each bonus you redeem, meaning you’ll have to bet 25 times the amount of your deposit and bonus before you can withdraw any funds. One of the most important terms is the fact that only slots play will count towards clearing this bonus. If you plan to play other games throughout the casino, you might want to check out the other games section, where there is information on a smaller alternative bonus that is designed for fans of table games and other casino options.

Other Games at Bovada Casino

The fact that Bovada’s software platform includes games from many different providers means that there are countless table games and other options available in the casino. Here’s a quick look at the kinds of table games you can play while at Bovada:
  • Blackjack
  • Baccarat
  • Craps
  • American Roulette
  • European Roulette
Rounding out the game selection is a large number of speciality games that offer a change of pace from the typical casino fare. There are a handful of scratch cards you can play, including titles like Beach Bums, Cavalier Cash and Penguin Payday. There are also bingo-based games, as well as one of the most popular casino games of all time: keno.
If you want to play games other than slots, you should know that they won’t count towards the slots welcome bonus we talked about above. However, there is a second bonus that allows you to play just about all of the games in the casino while clearing it.
The “Other Casino Games Welcome Bonus” is a 100% match worth up to $250. It comes with a 40x wagering requirement and allows you to play just about any games you want in order to clear it. Only single and double deck blackjack, baccarat, sic bo, craps and roulette won’t count towards your playthrough requirement. Like the slots bonus, this one can be redeemed up to four times, meaning you could earn as much as $1,000 in bonus funds through this promotion.

Play with Real Dealers

Prepare for spotlights, glitz and glamour as Bovada’s Live Dealers bring Las Vegas to your doorstep. Take the front seat and get comfy, you’ll find all the major table games at the live casino. From blackjack to baccarat to roulette, play live online with real playing cards, real roulette wheels and real dealers for real money.
Live dealer casino is the closest you will get to a traditional “brick and mortar” casino experience and interacting with your dealer, as well as other players, will only enhance your gambling experience. So, if you are ready to spin the roulette wheel, Bovada’s Live Dealer Casino is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Deposits and Withdrawals

The deposit options available to you at Bovada will depend on where you are playing from. In the United States, the primary deposit method is Visa. In various jurisdictions, you may also be able to withdraw funds through these methods:
  • Visa cards
  • Money Transfer
  • Rapid Transfer
  • MasterCard
Bovada offers withdrawals by a number of different methods. If you want to collect your winnings from the casino, they can be sent to you by any of the following options:
  • Check
  • Bank Wire
  • Rapid Transfer

Software and Reputation

Bovada has a complete casino product available in two different formats. There is an instant play casino that you can log into right on their website, one that gives you access to hundreds of games right in your Internet browser. Secondly, you also have the option of playing many games through their downloadable casino software and it's very versatile, providing access to the complete range of Bovada games.
You can also play at Bovada on a large number of mobile devices including Android, iPad, iPhone and Kindle. Blackberry and Windows mobile devices are also supported.
As for reputation, Bovada’s name has a lot of cache in the United States because of their origins as an offshoot of the Bodog sites that no longer operate in the country. The largest complaints we’ve seen have had to deal with slow payouts or problems cashing checks, but these appear to be relatively uncommon, with most players reporting good experiences both in the casino and in the cashout process.

The Final Verdict

Bovada is the perfect option for a player who wants a little bit of everything from a casino. Few sites offer the variety of options found at Bovada, because of the various software providers. While Bovada may not be perfect, it's solid reputation and the versatile nature of the site makes this a strong recommend for gamblers who want a well-rounded casino experience.

Ark Big Ideas 2021: Read Through to SPACs

Ark has been a big name in SPACs, investing in general in 2020/2021, and followed closely on this subreddit. They have invested in SPACs including HIMS, OPEN, LGVW, and EXPC, which often saw an increase in trading price after Ark's involvement. Names such as SRAC and NPA also received a boost with the announcement of the Ark Space ETF. So it is helpful to understand what Ark is looking at when investing in SPACs.
Ark released their "Big Ideas 2021" presentation last week. The below goes through the high level industries and ideas Ark is looking at, as well as relevant SPACs to those industries/ideas. While these SPACs are not listed by Ark in the presentation, they are my summary of those that fit, and poised to benefit from, the themes Ark lays out.
  1. Deep Learning: AI/Computer written software code
    1. Key SPAC Names: SAII, ACEV, THBR
      1. Ark mention autonomous vehicles (among many other end markets). While this is focused more on software, SAII recently rumored to be in talks with Otonomo, an Israeli startup that operates a data platform linked to millions of connected cars.
      2. Ark also mention a jump in specialized chips in this section (don’t specifically say FPGAs [ACEV] or SOCs [THBR], but could be applicable).
    2. SPAC names I wouldn't include, but related: GRAF/VLDR, GMHI/LAZR, IPV, CLA, CGRO, CFAC (rumored)
      1. While autonomous is mentioned, the focus is more on deep learning software and chips enabling it than the LiDAR players, so don’t include them here.
  2. The Re-invention of the Data Center: Data centers shifting to new hardware, such as ARM, RISC-V, GPUs, TPUs, and FPGAs
    1. Key SPAC Names: ACEV
      1. A lot of this section is about ARM processors. But, they specifically mention accelerators, including FPGAs, replacing CPUs. ACEV target Achronix is one of the few independent FPGA producers.
    2. SPAC names I wouldn’t Include, but related: THBR
      1. FPGAs specifically mentioned, but no mention of SOCs or autonomous, so don’t think THBR as applicable here.
  3. Virtual Worlds: Virtual reality, augmented reality, metaverse, and other futuristic steps in the design and monetization of video games
    1. Key SPAC Names: FEAC/SKLZ
      1. Virtual Gaming: Around virtual worlds, Roblox IPO is a prime target, although this section talks about areas outside of just Vmetaverse. They talk about different methods of monetizing video games, which SKLZ (former FEAC SPAC) fits well with.
    2. SPAC names I wouldn't include, but related: LCA/GNOG, DMYD, DMYT/RSI, DEAC/DKNG
      1. Online Gambling: While the online gambling players are technically “gaming”, this section seems more focused on video game monetization than gambling, so I don’t include them.
  4. Digital Wallets: Online first financial accounts, banking, and lending platforms
    1. Key SPAC Names: VIH, IPOE, FUSE (rumored), FTOC (rumored), NEBU/LPRO, FSRV, BFT
      1. VIH immediately comes to mind as the SPAC whose presentation talks specifically about digital wallets. But it appears that they are also talking about online-based banking services here, which can broaden potential targets to include IPOE/SoFi (only SPAC explicitly mentioned by Ark), the rumored FUSE/MoneyLion deal, the rumored Payonee FTOC merger
      2. They also mention digital lenders, which could include NEBU/LPRO or FSRV (don’t mention either, but mention FSRV partner AFFM)
    2. SPAC names I wouldn't include, but related: FTAC/PAYA & SPRQ
      1. Fintech payment enabling fintech SPACs, but they aren’t really digital wallets/consumer focused.
  5. Bitcoin: No explanation needed on this, they dedicated a section to the world's largest cryptocurrency
    1. Key SPAC Names: VIH
      1. Digital Wallet: While crypto exchanges and other bitcoin-related names have been rumored to potentially be evaluating SPACs, VIH is the only crypto-related name currently in the SPAC universe
  6. Electric Vehicles: An area well covered on this subreddit, EVs are another key sector pointed out by Ark.
    1. Key SPAC Names: SHLL/HYLN, DPHC/RIDE, SPAQ/FSR, HCAC/GOEV, VTIQ/NKLA, ACTC, CIIC, NGA, FIII, GIK, PSAC, CCIV (rumor), KCAC/QS, PIC/XL, RMG/RMO, ALUS, CLII, TPGY, SBE, FVAC/MP, AMCI, THBR, ACEV
      1. EV OEMs: The major EV OEM SPACs are obvious candidates here, being SHLL/HYLN, DPHC/RIDE, SPAQ/FSR, HCAC/GOEV, VTIQ/NKLA, ACTC, CIIC, NGA, FIII, GIK, PSAC, CCIV (rumor)
      2. EV Parts: Parts suppliers, such as KCAC/QS, PIC/XL, RMG/RMO, and ALUS are also all poised to benefit from electrification
      3. EV Charging Stations: The EV Charging stations, such as CLII, TPGY, SBE, are all going to see great benefit from further EV adoption
      4. Raw Materials: FVAC/MP is also exposed to broader EV trends via NdPr output at the mine, which is currently used in 90% of EVs
      5. FCEV Parts: AMCI is acquiring a fuel cell provider, which are used for FCEVs and mentioned throughout their presentation
      6. Semiconductors: THBR’s semiconductors are being used for electrification, among other auto-based end markets. ACEV is similar, with their FPGAs being used for the future of the auto-market.
    2. SPAC names I wouldn't include, but related: TRNE/DM
    3. TRNE talks about how additive manufacturing enables EVs, among many other industries, although it’s not a key focus/driver.
  7. Automation: Robotics factories, production, and manufacturing. Do not know of any SPACs in this area currently.
  8. Autonomous Ride Hailing: Specifically looking at robo-taxis
    1. Key SPAC Names: GRAF/VLDR, GMHI/LAZR, IPV, CLA, CGRO, CFAC (rumored), THBR, ACEV
      1. LiDAR: While Ark’s thesis is looking more at the platform providers, any autonomous driving will be enabled by the LiDAR providers GRAF/VLDR, GMHI/LAZR, IPV, CLA, CGRO, CFAC (rumored)
      2. Semiconductors: THBR is looking to produce semi’s for “safety systems” for future vehicles (autonomous). ACEV is similarly looking to use their FPGAs for the future of cars.
    2. SPAC names I wouldn't include, but related: SHLL/HYLN, DPHC/RIDE, SPAQ/FSR, HCAC/GOEV, VTIQ/NKLA, ACTC, CIIC, NGA, FIII, GIK, PSAC, CCIV (rumor)
    3. EV OEMs: While it’s possible the major EV OEMs could have autonomous vehicles, and some even mention this, it is not as key to their investment thesis as the electrification side
  9. Drone Delivery: Autonomous air travel, mostly for ecommerce delivery and passengers
    1. Key SPAC Names: Haven’t seen any SPACS that really relate to this theme
    2. SPAC names I wouldn't include, but related: EXPC, ASPL (rumor), ZNTE (rumor)
      1. The Ark presentation seems to mostly be mentioning eCommerce-type fulfilment, although there is some discussion of autonomous passenger deliver
  10. Orbital Aerospace: Space-related names including connectivity and hypersonic point-to-point travel
  11. Key SPAC Names: SRAC, IPOA/SPCE, NPA
    1. Satellite Launch/Positioning: SRAC is likely the most relevant, as it specializes in putting satellites into their proper orbit.
    2. Space-based Connetivity: NPA also helps enable space-based communication, which Ark mentions.
    3. Hypersonic Point-to-Point: And finally, Ark mentions hypersonic point-to-point travel, which IPOA/SPCE is looking to get involved in
  12. 3D Printing: Another straight forward one, Ark thinks additive manufacturing will revolutionize manufacturing
  13. Key SPAC Names: TRNE/DM
    1. 3D Printing: DM is a 3D printer, this one is clearly the most applicable
  14. Long Read Sequencing: DNA sequencing (think ILMN), the next step is those who can perform longer "reads" of DNA (PACB, Oxford Nanopore). I have not seen any SPACs targeting this area.
  15. Multi-Cancer Screening: Looking at liquid biopsies/blood tests for early cancer detection.
  16. Key SPAC Names: CNAC/DMTK
  17. SPAC names I wouldn't include, but related: VGAC
    1. Genetic Testing: VGAC is rumored to be in discussions with 23andMe. Their current product is mostly around ancestry testing, but they also are looking to do health screening per the Bloomberg article. Still, Ark is focused mostly on cancer testing, and there is no evidence they are specializing in cancer screening.
  18. Cell & Gene Therapy Generation 2: Self-explanatory, cell and gene therapies, Ark looks at the next stage shifting from liquid to solid tumors, autologous (cells from yourself) to allogeneic (cells from anybody) cell therapy, and ex vivo to in vivo gene editing.
  19. Key SPAC Names: GXGX
    1. Allogenic Gene Therapy: Ark specifically talks about allogenic therapies, of which GXGX is acquiring one.
None of the above is supposed to be investment advice, a recommendation to buy, or suggest Ark is or will be involved at all in any of the above names. Do your own due diligence.
I and others I advise own positions in some of the above securities

Edit: Added BFT to "Digital Wallets" and CNAC/DMTK to "Multi-Cancer Screening"

Weekly SPAC Rundown 2/1 – 2/7

The below references an opinion and is for information purposes only. It is not intended to be investment advice. Seek a duly licensed professional for investment advice.
$CCIV – again reached crazy peaks based on retail buying. $CCIV had run up on reports the Saudis would be on CNBC only to sell off when the Saudis made no statement about a merger to $CCIV only to run up again on news that Lucid’s CEO would be on CNBC only to sell off again when he stated he could not confirm or deny any negotiations only to then run up again based on the fact that he apparently smiled while saying that. At this point $CCIV has reached meme stock status along the likes of $AMC and $GME and its valuation is just based on however many people can be convinced via facebook, twitter and youtube to keep buy into it. If Lucid decides to go another route expect to see this stock at $10 within a day but if the rumor is confirmed no idea how high this may run.
$KSMT – is in talks to take public Nexters, a game development studio.
$THCB – finally signed their DA with Microvast. Perhaps long suffering holders of $THCA will see a deal there now at last?
$ASPL – signed a DA to take public WheelsUp, a private jet charter service.
Indian solar unicorn Renew Power was rumored to be looking to go public via SPAC possibly via $PDAC or $RMGB.
$LACQ – signed a DA with Ensyse Biosciences, maker of a non-addictive opioid substitute pain killer currently in trials. This SPAC had a previous redemption and thus a small float reminding me greatly of $BRPA. Be interesting to see if it also runs up as hard.
$ACAC – signed a DA with Playstudios, an MGM backed maker of gambling apps.
$HOL – will take public space launch company Astra.
$VCVC – will take public Israeli EV startup and Canoo lookalike company Ree Automotive.
$VGAC – signed a DA to merge with genomic testing company 23andme. The CEO of 23andme is also on the board of the $AJAX SPAC so looks like she is putting her money where here mouth is as far as supporting the SPAC space.
$FMAC – saw twitter rumors swirling that it was looking to take public Discord but so far these are unsubstantiated and may have been a pump and dump.
$APSG – is in talks to take public Solera Holdings.
$DCRB – will merge with hydrogen truck maker Hyzon Motors. Unlike Nikola, Hyzon appears to have working vehicles.
$DGNR – will merge with CCC Information Services, a SaaS platform for P&C insurance.
$GHVI – is rumored to be in talks to take public Matterport, Inc., maker of software for virtual walkthroughs and 3D modeling
$RTP – is in talks with online insurance provider Hippo. Hippo is very analogous to Lemonade which recently IPO’d to great success. $RTP is led by LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman.
$FTOC – will take public Payoneer, the “paypal of Asia” and the company ebay replaced Paypal with for payment processing. Betsy Cohen’s next fintech SPAC will be FTAC Hera and list under symbol $HERAU when it launches.
Short sellers Hindenburg Research launched a hit piece on $CLOV which went public via Chamath SPAC $IPOC. $Some current Chamath SPACs such as $IPOE saw a small dip after the release.
$NOVS – completed its merger with AppHarvest. The new ticker will be $APPH.
$NBAC – has requested to extend their time to merge from February to May. A vote will be held 2/10/21. Those who do not wish to grant an extension can redeem their shares for NAV.

Sonasoft [$SSFT] Autonomous AI Platform Company: Undervalued and Underrated

Sonasoft [$SSFT] Autonomous AI Platform Company: Undervalued and Underrated

NuGene is Sonasoft's autonomous AI platform
TLDR; Sonasoft was founded by Silicon Valley tech veteran Andy Khanna in 2003, with an initial focus on data migration, storage, and management. With AI tech growing and big data booming, SSFT began to invest in AI tech and in 2018 acquired IT solutions company Cornerstone and AI company Hotify. This turned Sonasoft into an E2E, A to Z, IT, Big Data, AI, and ML company offering a unique set of solutions for customers. Currently, the company posts $13M+ in revenue a year, with a market cap of <$80M. This is a hidden gem. This is incredibly undervalued right now and a strong buy and hold.
SSFT currently trades at $0.17
I wanted to create this write-up because there is some additional detail from Sonasoft's robust 2020 for you all to absolutely chew on before buying in. Please find an incredibly thorough DD here.

A focus on AI

Put simply, Sonasoft focuses on delivering AI solutions for customers. Sonasoft's Unified AI platform, NuGene, lies at the heart of this strategy. NuGene simplifies how developers and data scientists build and deploy AI bots. The Sonasoft ‘bot factory’ streamlines the process of creating and deploying AI models. This starts with defining the problem and gathering the data, then it uses its own AI engine to build a robust model. Finally, it simplifies the process of deploying the model in production. This allows companies to benefit from AI without needing to employ large teams of data scientists. Uniquely, NuGene is capable of dealing with extremely rich and diverse datasets without the need to simplify the raw data. This means the resulting AI models are far more robust against bias.
Data analytics and AI/ML need only continues to grow

Sonasoft 2020 Year in Review

Sonasoft Corp. (OTCQB: SSFT) closed out 2020 with new partnerships, expanded C-suite management, revamped engineering and data science teams, and exciting IP. While COVID has been a challenging year for many companies, Sonasoft has weathered the storm and is in a great position for 2021. 2020 saw Sonasoft complete its switch to an AI-first company, completing a strategy that began in 2018.
Just last week (January 28, 2021), Sonasoft filed a key patent that solves one of the hardest problems in AI. Namely, how to cope when your training data is noisy, limited, or unpredictable.
Mike Khanna, Sonasoft’s CEO, explains, “This new technique will allow more companies to benefit from the disruptive impact of AI. Sonasoft NuGene already incorporates the technology, which allows us to create AI models even when we only get limited or noisy data. This will help our customers leverage AI throughout their business. By patenting the technology, we defend our shareholders’ and investors’ interests while ensuring the approach is shared with the wider research community.”

Key investment in AI Engineering

In Q4 of 2020, Sonasoft hired veteran ML engineers and data scientists. This allowed a focus on taking NuGene from MVP (minimum viable product) to a fully-fledged product. Real money is being made.
The Head of Engineering is Max Lee, who has an extensive background in creating hardware and AI solutions for chatbots, signal processing, and computer vision. He epitomizes the way the whole engineering team works. He is able to solve problems by applying his multi-disciplinary knowledge that spans mathematics, science, engineering, and ethics.
The Head of Data Science is Caroline Zaborowski. She brings years of experience applying data science to solve complex problems in the online gambling industry. Prior to that, she completed a Ph.D. in Astrophysics at the University of Oxford. She ensures Sonasoft applies rigorous standards of data science, which has allowed NuGene’s performance to improve significantly.

New Management Team

2020 saw significant changes in the management of Sonasoft. This started in December of 2019 when Mike Khanna was promoted to CEO. One of his first priorities was to bring in a new C-suite with the experience to complete Sonasoft’s transformation that began 2 years earlier.
Rob Baumert, Sonasoft’s CFO since Feb 2020, brings over two decades of experience to the Sonasoft management team. Prior to Sonasoft, he spent 7 years at RedBubble, serving variously as Chief Operations Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. Over that time, they saw sales surge from $3MM to $143MM. INSANE!
Paul Clauson, appointed as COO Q4 2020, has worked with ML engineers and data scientists for the better part of a decade. He focuses his time on building world-class teams and go-to-market strategy. He has been instrumental in building Sonasoft’s new engineering team.
Josh Rose was hired as Chief of Staff in Q4. He has a background in private equity. This experience has been invaluable as Sonasoft focuses on building new strategic partnerships. He has also been spearheading Sonasoft’s latest successful round of fundraising.

Sonasoft signs strategic partnership with a multi-billion dollar financial services company

2020 saw Sonasoft sign some key strategic partnerships. The biggest of these will see Sonasoft building AI bots for one of the world’s largest financial services companies, FIDELITY INVESTMENTS. This will place AI analytics at the very center of the financial data ecosystem. Clients of the partnership will see a transformation in how they can leverage financial data. This will see them transition to predictive and prescriptive analytics, making them more competitive than ever before.
2020 also saw Sonasoft complete a key AI project with Delaware Electric Cooperative (DEC). DEC is one of the largest utility cooperatives in the US. DEC sources its power from several providers. One of the biggest costs to their business is coincident peaks, which happen when there is a surge in demand. To try and control these costs, DEC issues “beat the peak” notices to its members, asking them to reduce consumption.
Sonasoft developed a set of AI bots that are able to correctly predict these coincident peaks. In the first two months of going live, the bots demonstrated their ability to deliver annual cost savings of up to $1.3MM.
Material Definitive Agreement with Fidelity to develop AI solutions
Agreement announced in June 2020 with Google via their SEC filings

Sonasoft goes all in on AI

In 2020, Sonasoft continued its pursuit of completing its pivot from a services company to a pure AI company. This pivot from Sonasoft included an aggressive divestment policy as part of the long-term AI strategy. E-Connect Software Inc. and Sonavault were both sold to previous Company Officers, allowing Sonasoft to focus much more attention on AI, as well as saving some $250k in annual burn.

Lockdown 3.0 Things to do, plus help and support.

Disclaimer I want to thank everyone for the gilds, replies and suggestions. I just do not have time to reply to everyone, but I am reading everything. I am not sure how much bigger the thread can be, I already typed this but it vanished so I think I'm at the limit. I will try to keep updating, but I don't expect the thread to be up top for much longer and will likely vanish soon, so if you need anything save it.
Yes, it's hard, it sucks, it's depressing. It is something we all have to do if you want to see this virus go. Everyone knows the deal, too many think they're the exception but no one is. However, staying home is hard so maybe I can help at least one or two people with some incentives. I'll try to give links to some things that can help cure the boredom, and some support if you need it.
Most of this might be obvious to some, some might not even have internet and of course, money is a big issue, so I'll try to give some suggestions:
For streaming and on demand things such as Netflix et al, don't forget you can subscribe for free for your first month. This goes for most things in the list. If you are worried about putting in your payment details and forgetting to cancel a month later, don't worry! You can sign up and immediately cancel and you still get your free month!
For people who don't have a smart TV, you can buy a cheap Amazon Fire TV stick or a Roku box. The Fire stick can go as low as £20 often for 1080p. It will drop to £30 for 4k.
I picked up a 4k Roku device for £18 on Amazon once. It's fast and snappy. currently it's going for £33 for the 4k version. Having both, there is little difference between the devices. NowTV also do their own roku powered device.
Subscription based streaming sites that all offer 2-4 weeks free for first timers
  • Netflix *According to comments the second month is free.
  • Amazon Prime You can either get Amazon video on its own, or take prime with other benefits. I strongly urge those who use Amazon for buying off their store front to use [https://smile.amazon.co.uk/] as there is literally no difference except everything you buy amazon donates to a charity of your choice.
  • Now TV (I believe it's 7 days)
  • Disney+
  • Britbox
  • Amazon channels. I believe you can get all these individually but Amazon offers them as channels bound to your prime account, and they are again either free for a couple weeks (again, take them, cancel instantly) or very cheap. I recently subscribed to Starzplay for £1 for 3 months. It has some good shows on it like Fringe, doom patrol. It also has channels like Curiosity stream and shudder
If you have not subscribed to the any of the above, you can get a few months of free TV by signing up and cancelling instantly. I suggest waiting at least 5 minutes just to let it go through the system.
Some tips for Now TV. IF you already have a subscription, I've noticed you can get it cheaper by cancelling. When you cancel they will beg you to stay. Select "I can not afford it this month" and they should beg again, telling you what shows they have. If you say you still want to cancel, they'll beg one last time and offer you the subscription for cheaper. This won't work every month, but I've noticed they'll always offer it the first time, then again after a couple months. If you're subscribed to both films and entertainment do the most expensive one as it may not work both times (but it might!). You can also pick up passes from storefronts a lot cheaper sometimes, before I could pick one up on Amazon for £3 but, they seem to have cracked down on it. If you shop around (or if anyone knows of a legitimate store please let me know) you might be able to pick it up cheaper. Lastly, check their website and under your account they should have an "offers for you" section.
Completely free TV
If you do have a smart TV and/or device, there are some good free streaming apps. One I really love is called PlutoTV. I know this is on both Roku and the fire stick, as well as Ps4/Ps5 and xbox.
Pluto offers a bunch of live channels and now an on demand section, all for free. It has adverts but they are actually short (shorter than regular TV and fewer of them). Some of the channels are just streaming certain shows like Mythbusters 24/7 or Dog the bounty hunter, but it has a lot of old movie channels as well as 24/7 kickboxing and MMA. It also has a 24/7 poker channel I quite like.
Another one I like is Rakuten Viki however, I haven't watched it for a while as my fire stick is only 1080p and I have too many other devices attached. I believe it is on Roku but you have to jump through some hoops and have an account. The last I checked on the fire stick you did not. Viki offers a metric ton of Asian shows, mainly from Japan and South Korea but it does have chinese, Malaysian etc. It has subtitles. Some Japanese shows are hysterical, albeit weird.
Roku also do their own channels with free shows if you own a device.
For those who don't have a smart TV or a Streaming device, you can set up your own computer as a dedicated streaming device with Plex. It's been a while since I used it but I believe it now also offers free movies and TV.
Anime
If you are into Anime there is
The first 2 are free to watch, or offer premium without ads which you can have a trial with. Crunchyroll is the better of the two with more original choice for Japanese voice and subs, while Funimation has more Dubs. I don't believe HiDive is free to watch but you do get a 2 week trial. These are more exclusives than the previous two.
PC Centric software
If you are a gamer or like Audiobooks or anything that uses computers for things like music making, programming or graphic design
Humble Bundle offers, as per the name, bundles. A long running site that got bought out by IGN. It offers both single items and bundles you can buy individually/as a pack while also offering a separate monthly subscription for around £8-9. The subscription gives you 12 games on average per month. That's the simplest explanation but it changes somewhat as sometimes you get to pick 10 out of 14 games, or get all 12.
Humble bundle offers more than just games though. Every Tuesday they bring a new bundle of games, while Thursday (I "think) a new bundle of books. They very often have books from the Black Library giving you a ton of Warhammer books. Sometimes it's standard E-books, other times it's audiobooks. A few times a year they do bundles for graphic design, a typical bundle would include programs like Paintshop Pro Corel Painter etc, They usually go for £0.76 for tier 1 up to around £18 for tier 3, which would include 4-6 full titles with 10+ addons. They also often have Music making bundles or video editing software as well as Programming or video game development.
The bundles change often, they usually have around 11 bundles at a time that last for 20 days. Sometimes it's trash but they do often have some very good deals.
Fanatical offers the same as humble bundle except usually not as high quality, but sometimes they do have some incredible deals, and they are very very cheap.
Both humble and fanatical are safe, trusted and been around a long time, and they are NOT grey market key sites. They work with the publishers and developers. You can buy games both old and new for a lot cheaper than you would most other places. Unless it states otherwise, keys are usually for steam.
**BOTH HB and Fanatical (HB much more common) offer free games fairly often. The catch is linking your steam account to them (at least HB). It is safe however.
IndieGala is another site like above. Except, these are much much lower quality. However, they offer a metric ton of free games. Quality is low but it is legitimate, and a lot of free stuff.
Game Store Fronts
  • Steam This one is so obvious I didn't add it, but apparently many want me to. It is the best out there, and you can find almost everything, with fantastic deals.
  • Greenmangaming offers games cheaply. Again, not a grey market site (which are legal but unethical) and they sometimes do bundles.
  • GoG (Good old games) is a DRM free site run by CDPR, the makers of the Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk. They offer you games quite cheap and not needing DRM (such as Steam, Uplay etc which is less invasive versions of dodgy DRM from the olden days).
  • Epic Games Despite the controversy whether you care about their rivalry with valve, they offer free games ever week. Without ever having bought anything I have gained over 170 games. literally. Good games for the most part. They often give you £10 coupons as well.
  • Twitch Everyone knows twitch, but if you don't, it's a streaming service for watching gamers and girls with low cut tops accidentally bending over in front of the game. However, if you're signed up to prime, you get free games each month (and randomly between the set bunch).
  • Playstation Store Currently has January sales. Currently the free games for PS+ are for PS4: Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Greedfall. For the Ps5 it is Maneater
  • Games with Gold Bleed 2 and the King of Fighters XIII is available until Janurary 15th whilst little Nightmares is available until January 31st.
Gaming Subscriptions
Like the TV versions, you can sign up to these for a free trial (or very cheap). If you do sign up to only one at a time, it should keep you busy for a few months
  • Xbox Game Pass You can do this on both/either an Xbox or PC. If you sign up to the regular one, you can get a month (maybe three!) for £1. After you have done that, you can sign up to the premium version for 3 months at £1 a month. Most people know game pass, but you can download a large selection of games for free. The premium version gives you games with gold, allowing you to keep the games forever (but can only play with a subscription)
  • Ubisoft+ I'm not 100% sure if you get a trial or not. This allows a large collection of Ubisoft titles to play for £12.99 a month. Quite expensive but good if you like Ubisoft titles I guess.
  • EA Play EA's version. Goes by a ton of names I think, EA Access, EA Play, Origin Access etc etc. There's a couple of versions of this, and it is across all platforms (PS4/5, Xbox, PC) but not sure about the switch. I "think" the premium allows you to play on all platforms, while the cheaper one on a single platform, but I may be mistaken.
  • PS Now a once terrible service that is now actually very good. Allows you to download some Ps4 games to your PS4/5 and lets you stream a massive amount of Ps2/3/4 to your PC or playstation.
There's more like nvidia's service but you need the Shield device which is quite expensive. I'll leave it at that.
Audiobooks & Ebooks
  • Audible Not sure what the current deal is but if you are a prime member you can sign up for a trial and get a free Audiobook each month for 3 months. Some warhammer books are 48 hours long, 3 of those gives you a good 100+ hours of listening!
  • Comixology Another Amazon company, but lets you download some free comics I believe.
  • Marvel Unlimited No experience with this. ItFuckingWont wanted me to add it. A subscription service for Marvel.
Education
  • Sign Language BSL here No experience myself, suggested by n21brown and asked for a few times. Didn't know SL was so popular! Listed as "Pay what you can"
  • BBC's Bitesize here is apparently good for home learning. Again, no personal experience.
If you need some spare change
Okay, I don't generally bother with it, but maybe some of this could be useful to you. These are NOT a quick way to make a fortune. These are small things you can do over time for a bit of pocket change
  • If you have prime you can get a FREE FIVE POUND GIFT CARD by literally just streaming a song from Amazon music (which is included in prime) here is the details According to the comments it's only for select people, but it's worth trying If the link doesn't work for you just google "Amazon £5 coupon music"
  • Now, these sorts of sites have been around for years, I haven't used any other than talkInsights which I must have signed up to 10-15 years ago. Basically they send you surveys and you answer them. They are confidential and don't ask for personal details in the survey. You need 2000 points and you get £20. During the pandemic they've slowed down but I probably get around £40 a year. Not much I know, but it's an email followed by a quick survey ticking boxes. Depending on your answer sometimes you get screened out, I'm not telling you to lie but just be consistent with your answers and you should be able to work out how to not get screened. Some emails are only worth 20 points, others 200. It's slow to get to the 2000 but very quick to just answer a few questions.
  • Apparently beermoneyuk is a good sub to make some pocket change with.
  • There is also matched betting. I have never done this, I don't have the patience but from what I've read, it's legitimate, it works and you can make a fair amount of cash from it so long as you do it correctly, and there's a ton of guides. I mention this because people stuck at home could get into it and as long as you're careful (I.E not entering in the wrong numbers) it's risk free AND it pisses off the betting shops. It seems people in comments have had success with it. Disclaimer A couple have complained about gambling. This arguably is not gambling. If you are susceptible to addiction do not do it. However, it's argued that there is no fun or buzz in this, and it's a very tedious and time consuming thing. Others argue you can't make the same money anymore (People were making thousands, now only hundreds if that). It's risk free providing you know what you're doing, the risks are user error, such as entering the wrong numbers. Someone pointed out that due to the lockdown, bets could potentially be cancelled due to sport stopping. So use on a side of caution. We're (mainly) adults so I'll leave it up just because this doesn't have the excitement of regular gambling.
  • Microsoft Rewards This is an easy way to make pocket change doing very little. Most people have a MS account. The rewards program offers you numerous ways to grab points, by playing free to play games, answering small questions (you don't even need to answer most of the time, just open the link and shut it) and by using bing and searching on it. I've gotten 20k points JUST by answering questions over a couple months. There are many rewards but you can grab a £5 gift card for 6k for example, or a month of game pass (and AFAIK you can make points playing the games)
  • Google rewards Someone mentioned this in the comments. I have not used it, so can not give any input on it. Sounds similar to TalkInsights which I linked. Google states "Complete short surveys while standing in line, or waiting for a subway. Get rewarded with Google Play or PayPal credit for each one you complete. Topics include everything from opinion polls, to hotel reviews, to merchant satisfaction surveys. We’ll notify you when a survey is waiting."
That's it for now. I will try to update as I go along. A long post but I hope that it can help some of you with finding something good to do that's free, cheap or a bargain. I do suggest getting prime, especially since you get free music, free delivery, free TV and music and free video games each month. In fact, there's a ton of perks and I feel I've gotten way over the cost investment.
Hope it helps someone at least
PartTimeCrazy said if you bought an Apple product you get 3 free months of Apple Arcade and Apple TV free for a year
fakehunted is upset I didn't mention wanking. Tesco have 225 sheets of Tissue for £0.75!

HEALTH
I'm not a doctor! But if you're a smoker, something I strongly suggest is to quit. I struggled for years but in the first lockdown I quit, technically. I haven't had a cigarette since, however, I do that silly thing millennials do. I vape, but, it made quitting extremely easy. I would not have been able to do it if it wasn't for 88Vape They sell extremely cheap liquids at £1 each. You can find these in B&M but you can pick up 25 for £20 or buy your own mix.
Vitamin D deficiency has been said to be a big problem for the virus. I'd suggest (again, not a doctor!) that you pick some up. Tesco do a 3 for 2 deal. So you can pick up 270 tablets for £7.
If you are vulnerable you MIGHT be able to phone tesco and get put on their delivery saver list (currently it's paused but phoning may help. At the very least they might give you a priority slot. I did this for my mum, we didn't shop at Tesco but I phoned for her, and they put her on with no hassle, so she can always get a delivery.
HELP & ADVICE
The lockdown Rules.
Reasons to leave home include:
  • Work or volunteering where it is "unreasonable" to work from home. This includes work in someone else's home, such as that carried out by social workers, nannies, cleaners and tradespeople
  • Education, training, childcare and medical appointments and emergencies
  • Exercise outdoors (limited to once a day). This includes meeting one other person from another household in an open public space to exercise
  • Shopping for essentials such as food and medicine
  • Communal religious worship
  • Meeting your support or childcare bubble. Children can also move between separated parents Activities related to moving house
I want to add, if you are in danger you are also allowed (and must!) to get away from the situation for some reason, BBC seems to have missed this very important thing (or I am blind)
Support
FOR THOSE SHIELDING YOU CAN CONTACT THE ROYAL VOLUNTARY SERVICE. These people helped my mother with picking up her medicine from the chemist. They were very helpful and went out their way to keep in touch and do it immediately. (It's the only experience I have with them though)
_riotingpacifist wanted these links added, but I simply just don't have the time to vet and check all the suggestions here, so I will link as is:
Update:
Digital Art
These are Free
  • Krita Arguably the best in my opinion. It has a load of options, brushes and a decent UI. It works fantastic with a tablet.
  • Gimp This is a decent program but last I used, the UI was a pain, and it isn't so user friendly while misses features, but it works, and it is possible to do some incredible creations on it.
  • Medibang Paint This is slightly geared towards Comics and Manga. I really enjoy using this with my drawing Tablet. As far as I know, it also for regular tablets for Android/Ipad and is free.
You can pick up a drawing tablet on Amazon quite cheap these days! Small ones that are just a black slate such as the wacom ones are good but takes some practice to get use to, but very worth it if you can't afford a dedicated drawing tablet with a screen.
Office suit software
A couple of free applications for word processing, spreadsheets etc.
  • LibreOffice This has most the average user would need to write their own books or to work from home. There's not a huge amount of difference between the two I'm linking (since I last used anyway) so it's more for preference.
  • Open Office You can pick this up here and again, like above it's just preference.
Music Making
I'm going to direct to matthewharris806 for some links as all the programs I've used like Reason are expensive, or cheaper stuff in bundles such as Magix software.
Games development
D_Dad_Default gives some links for that here

26 Capital Corp (ADERU) is a new at-NAV SPAC with world-leading online gambling expertise - worth a bet

EDIT - one week after i posted this, Britain's most successful hedge fund manager Michael Platt has taken a 6.5% stake
tl;dr
At-NAV new SPAC with world-leading expertise in online gambling. Worth a bet on potential to be next DKNG on the hype train

+++++++
Hi all - have had a lot of great tips from this sub. Hopefully this pays some of you back. I have been watching and researching this since 23 December when it first filed S1, awaiting the units to be listed - they are available today trading as ADERU
Positions - 500 units @ 10.42 to start. Will be monitoring and building position below $15, especially if attention starts to build ahead of units and warrants splitting and shares coming available to Robinhood.
(My other SPAC positions are OPEN, IPO-E-F, PSTH, FUSE, PIPP, ACTC, CCIV and DMYD, 100 to 1000 shares each mostly around NAV and numerous warrants and options around these.)
As ever, this is not investment advice and do your own research
+++++++

26 Capital Acquisition Corp or ADER
is a 240m SPAC with usual terms - 10$ units, 1/2 warrants. Seeking a merger in "gaming and gaming technology, branded consumer, lodging and entertainment, and Internet commerce sectors".
I think this is highly worth a play on the online gambling hype if you can get in at near NAV, based entirely on the management which is unbeatable in its knowledge of the gambling industry

CEO Jason Ader
has held director level positions at Las Vegas Sands Corp. ($42bn one of biggest casino groups in world), IGT (£3.72bn multinational gambling firm specialised in software and slot machines) and Playtech (£1.4bn multinational gambling software firm)
Before starting his own fund in 2013 he was regularly ranked Wall Street's top analyst on the gambling and leisure sector
His fund, Spring Owl Capital, is a small activist fund focused on gambling and leisure. They are probably most famous for ousting the CEO of Viacom in 2016 and a crusade against Yahoo CEO Marissa Meyer in 2015.
Ader knows the gambling - and online gambling - industry inside out. He drove bWin to a £1.1bn takeover by gambling giant GVC (now Entain) in 2016, and has been driving similar change and demands for improvement at board level at Playtech
The fund mostly manages money for a select group of wealthy families, which could be a positive sign for the SPAC (although I don't know how much skin in the SPAC the fund has, if any)
Here is a video of Ader from November talking about how he's excited about SPACs. He talks about how he has been advising certain States about legalising sports betting and how to maximise value and liquidity by linking up with European companies in the space (Playtech e.g.??).
Ader is extremely bullish on US legalising online casino and more sports betting options, accelerated by need for revenue because of pandemic

Rafi Ashkenazi
One of the most highly respected names in the online gambling world, including COO and CEO positions at major online gambling firms such as Playtech and Stars Group (a world leader in online poker and casino). At Stars he led the $4.7bn takeover of Sky Betting to create the world's largest publicly listed online betting firm in 2018. Most recently he led the £10bn merger between Flutter (biggest gambling company in world by revenue, market cap £26bn), and Stars Group (Ader also involved). Also has connections into the booming Israel tech space which is interesting

Joseph Kaminkow
Special Advisor to the Chief Product Officer at Aristocrat, a leading gambling software provider and games publisher, previously Vice President of Game Design at Zynga Inc. This guy is a former video game / pinball designer who is credited with revolutionising the slots industry after moving into gambling software from video games in 1999. Regarded as a "legend" and "hall of famer" in this niche. At Zynga he designed so-called 'social casino games' which don't involve real-money gambling but are otherwise basically gambling apps (revenue from microtransactions etc). 130 patents on gambling/gaming design inventions

Greg Lyss
This is a very interesting but extremely low profile person. He was Bill Ackman a.k.a SPACman's right hand man at Gotham Capital. Ackman respected him so much that when Ackman set up a personal hedge fund to invest the Ackman family's money, he put Lyss in charge of it. To repeat - Bill Ackman thinks this guy is such a good investor and trustworthy that he put him in charge of investing his family's money. Don't know anything more about him, but I like this association with Ackman, which suggests to me some integrity around management of this SPAC, especially as the gambling world can be very murky.
The other member of the team is the CFO of SpringOwl with 20+ years' hedge fund experience and not notable (although clearly competent)

Thesis / potential targets
Based on the above experience and many public comments by Ader over the past year, I would be very surprised if ADER is not looking to merge with an online gambling technology provider / existing online betting website / social casino app / possibly a supporting technology provider
They are activist inventors, and specifically say in the IPO prospectus that they could look for businesses that can benefit from turnaround or are not being run well. I speculate that their deep knowledge of the European / global online gambling industry means they have a target in mind that they think would benefit from their expertise and US liberalisation of gambling legislation.

1) Ader believes the listing of UK-listed gambling companies in US is immediately big in terms of market cap because of the premium on online gambling stocks in US. He has pitched DraftKings to takeover Playtech and called on Playtech to spin off non-core business. This makes me wonder if he would spin off some element of Playtech to list in US to cash in on gambling hype.
This might be Finalto.com / TradeTech which is an online financial platform owned by Playtech. Playtech has been trying to sell this for 200 - 240m since August so it fits. This company provides liquidity and trading to brokerages and runs markets.com a trading site. I wouldn't be that excited although apparently the business has been booming during COVID and there could be a decent pop just on fintech hype.

2) This could be a 'picks and shovel' type data/B2B betting software play a la DMYD, or something like e.g. Israel based CRM software Optimove which works with some of biggest online gambling cos and has links to Ashkenazi. This would be interesting but probably not a huge pop

3) Possibly - given Ader's links to Sands - an online gambling tie-up with one of the big Vegas casinos who are desperate to get into the online betting space (see MGM's attempt to buy Entain for $8bn last week). Interestingly, Sands' owner Sheldon Adelson, previously a major opponent of online betting, has just died. Ader predicted a few months ago that Sands would be moving in this direction.
“There’s no stopping online gaming,” Ader said [before Adelson's death]. “(Las Vegas Sands’) initiatives to stop online gaming, at this stage, are largely historic. There hasn’t been a lot of spending recently to do that, especially post-pandemic.”
“I think the company will see the value created by DraftKings and FanDuel and Penn (National) Gaming and others. They’re not foolish,” Ader added. source

4) Ader is very confident that Macau will legalise online gambling in next year or two. Sands is big in Macau, the biggest gambling market in the world. A SaaS-type product positioned to capitalise on Asian gambling would be MASSIVE - at present however, China's attitude to gambling and local regulations mean this is unlikely

5) I also wonder if they might try to take legitimate one of the offshore bookmakers with big customer databases and brand recognition but which have been grey-area/illegal under US gaming legislation. For example, Five Dimes recently announced a settlement with the FBI to attempt to transition into newly legalised US markets. This might have the most hype potential

Potential upside
This is entirely a play on management experience and the meme factor / hype around online gambling in the US. I think if they pick a good target - which given their experience and connections seems likely - and get the right publicity and attention from retail investors looking for the next DKNG this could easily 3x and maybe 5-6x if on DKNG-type hype levels.
There is currently little spotlight on this and it is a good time to get in at NAV

$DMYD & Genius Sports: Index for Sports Betting with Strong Tail Winds

$DMYD & Genius Sports: Index for Sports Betting with Strong Tail Winds

DMYD & Genius Sports: Index for Sports Betting with Strong Tail Winds

SPAC's nowadays run up to $15, $20, $25 on merger announcement. Shitty, obscure SPACs with poor fundamentals and obscure business models are all the rage the past few weeks.
Investor presentation linked before the DD: https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5e33152a051d2e7588f7571c/t/5f98173a9643aa67a4ced693/1603802943090/GSG+PIPE+Presentation+%2827-Oct-2020%29.PDF As everyone has noticed, SPACs have put investors on notice in 2020. With massive liquidity in the markets today, tons of money has been flowing into speculative SPAC investments this year.
Given that retail investors have no chance to profit from traditional IPOs that hit the market after a 100% run up (ABNB, DASH, AI, U, etc.) SPACs have presented an excellent opportunity to evaluate and invest in new companies before they actually hit the market. Personally, I have made fantastic returns through a number of SPACs.
That being said, not all SPACs are created equal. Some legitimate mature companies and high growth disrupters have emerged through SPACs: UTZ, DraftKings, ChargePoint, OpenDoor, Virgin Galactic, Eos Energy, and Butterfly are just a few examples.
However, many SPACs are performance chasing the EV hype by pursuing multi billion dollar acquisitions of EV start ups with 0 revenue for the forseeable future. I say good luck.
However, how often do you find a diamond in the rough? A SPAC with a definitive agreement, near NAV and outstanding fundamentals? Oh, and did i mention that they only have one competitor?
One SPAC with massive upside potential at a conservative valuation is DMYD-Genius Sports.
First, who is DMYD? dMY Technology Group https://www.dmytechnology.com/team is led by CEO Niccolo de Masi, the former CEO of Glu Mobile.
De Masi has consummated 25+ mergers and raised more than $1B in funding for various ventures. He seems to have a knack for the mobile/gaming sector, as his first SPAC: DMYT is taking Rush Street, an igaming company, public. De Masi is a veteran of this sector, which makes Genius Sports Group an interesting target.

Meet Genius Sports. ($DMYD)

(TL;DR at bottom)

Who is Genius Sports?

Genius Sports Group is one of two large sports data providers (the other being SportRadar) that collects and sells live data to sports books. This is incredibly important, as live betting needs constantly adjusted lines to reflect real time game updates. Genius Sports currently has contracts with the NCAA, PGA, NASCAR, FIBA, EPL, Bundesliga, and NBA, among other leagues, to be their sole or primary data provider.
These partnerships have staying power, as these leagues are unlikely to change partners once they are locked in for multiyear contracts. Additionally, acquiring rights to official league data is expensive, thus making a high barrier of entry for new competitors. They have 220 customers including DraftKings, FanDuel, William Hill, MGM, PointsBet, and Caesars. Important to note: Genius takes 5% of revenues of events they cover from ALL sports books. https://geniussports.com/home/partners/

Genius is above other SPACs due to its mature market position and strong financials.

The company has been growing at a 30% CAGR over the last several years, with revenue growing 250% from 2016 to 2020 ($42M to $145M). 60% of revenue is recurring due to multi year contracts, and the top 10 customers only account for 30% of revenue, thus lowering flight risk of any particular customer.
Genius is already EBITDA positive with 10% margins this year, and anticipates $68M in adjusted EBITDA (adjusted to ignore stock based compensation, a non-cash expense) with 29% margins in two years.

Why Genius Sports?

Genius has a clear economic moat built around:
Proprietary technology to track and record in-game statistics on behalf of major sports leagues, in exchange for data rights
7,000+ statisticians and agents on the ground, managing 240K+ events per year
Highly customizable software that manages every aspect of a sportsbook’s data and trading offering, including advertising and streaming services
Long-term contracts with sports leagues and customers
Significant opportunity for inorganic growth via M&A
Highly fragmented market for technology, content and media within sports ripe for consolidation to boost growth outside of plan.

Genius is already EBITDA positive with 10% margins this year, and anticipates $68M in adjusted EBITDA (adjusted to ignore stock based compensation, a non-cash expense) with 29% margins in two years. In a year where sports were disrupted by Covid, Genius still grew revenue from $116M to $145M. They also successfully resigned their contract with the NBA, ensuring a multi-year partnership with the premiere US basketball league.
Outside of the betting market, Genius’s ability to aggregate data has led to an interesting agreement with the NCAA. Until 2018, live data with college sports was incredibly inefficient. Genius signed a contract with the NCAA to create a new software: NCAA Live statistics https://geniussports.com/sports/sportsmanagement/ncaa-case-study/.
This is a uniform software for all divisions of college sports. As a former college athlete myself, I reached out to some of the athletic support staff from my University. They raved about how Genius has improved efficiency and accuracy for college athletics. NCAA Live statistics has overhauled the entire industry.
And as New York is in the works of legalizing sports betting, this will explode soon.
Genius Sports also has an impressive amount of customers and partnerships, and even more exclusive ones coming each week. Which ones below do you recognize?; with over 700 partners you're bound to know a few of them.

Some of Genius Sports major customers.
Basketball: NBA, NCAA, March Madness
Soccer: FIFA, Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga
Golf: PGA, LPGA, European Tour
Racing: NASCAR
Online Sportsbooks: DraftKings & Fanduel
Traditional Sportsbooks: MGM, Caesars, SkyBet, William Hill
Likely Future Partner: Rush Street Gaming (DMYT)
  • Currently up 63% YTD, also went public with the same deal team (DMY)

More and more customers coming in each week.
they only lost 1 customer in last 3 years, and shortly after that customer RETURNED to Genius Sports. talk about real life FOMO, 'eh?

Financials & Trading Dynamics

Financials
  • Already makes $140M+ in revenue AND is profitable, with $14M in 2020 EBITDA
  • Growing at 30% CAGR, with $230M revenue and $68M EBITDA by 2022
  • $500M+ EBITDA potential in the horizon
  • Customer contracts have guaranteed minimums with upside on usage. The majority of 2020 revenue is locked in for 3-4 years on average
  • Only ever lost one customer in the past three years
Trading dynamics
  • Deal was overlooked because it was announced just before the election (10/27/20), one of the worst trading weeks for the entire market
  • Reddit following has been limited and Stocktwits nonexistent
  • If Genius Sports were to trade at similar 2022E revenue multiple of 19x as Draftkings, it would imply a stock price of $24-25
Additionally, with Pfizer’s vaccine approval, there is little to no risk of massive sports cancellations in the future. Genius still grew revenue during Covid’s massive disruption. I imagine that the revenue numbers for 2021 will be fantastic.
Now let’s focus on the stock movement and valuation.
Genius is valued as $1.4B, or 7.4x 2021 revenues. For a company with high CAGR and an industry with massive tailwinds, this seems like a fair, or cheap valuation. Note that Genius is trading at a steep discount to lower margin businesses such as sportsbooks Golden Nugget, DraftKings, and Penn.
https://twitter.com/ShortsHoward/status/1336686975554744320?s=20 Thanks to @ShortsHoward on Twitter.
While investors have been chasing the next hot EV IPO, Genius has slowly climbed from $10 to $13. Last summer, a rumored FEAC-SportRadar merger led to FEAC pumping to $15+. SportRadar was worth $2.8B in 2018, presenting 60% upside from Genius’ current price to reach its competitor’s 2018 valuation!
DMYD and Genius announced their merger in late October during a market downturn, thus letting it go overlooked. I think this is a sleeper SPAC that will have a massive influx of news in Q1, as its merger aligns with the climax of college basketball and the beginning of March Madness. A single Benzinga article pumped the stock by almost 20% last week.

Consistent growth
Last week, Genius Sports scored an exclusive partnership with the German Tennis Federation:
  • This is just one of the many partnerships Genius bring in. For example, a few days prior to this they scored a deal for Beach Soccer data. Over 700 partnerships and counting.

Exclusive partnership

Do you know who captures and provides the biggest sports betting event of the year - NCAA March Madness - data to sports betting sites?
  • It's Genius Sports and they'll be closing their merger with $DMYD right before that huge event. ESP March Madness for NCAA Basketball; One of the biggest gambling events of the year. The event occurs in Q1, which perfectly ties in with the merger with DMY Technology Group, Inc. II, $DMYD. Merger Q1 2021.
I also think the NCAA presents the biggest upside catalyst for Genius: March Madness. March Madness was cancelled due to the pandemic last year, but betters placed $4.8B in bets on the tournament in 2019. Who has a monopoly on NCAA data? Genius.
Who gets a 5% revenue share from ALL sports books for NCAA events? Genius. With the number of states with legalized betting doubling from 2018 to 2020, we could see upwards of $10B spent on March Madness this year. Along with March Madness, secular tailwinds for sports betting suggest high upside for Genius moving forward. 46 out of 50 states have either passed or presented legislation to legalize sports betting.
As states such as NY, CA, TX, and FL legalize betting, revenues streams will swell. Data will become increasingly important in this industry as live updates are constantly moving betting lines for books. With multi-year contracts with half of the US’s professional leagues, Genius serves as an index for the entire industry.
On top of that; just a few weeks ago Canada legalized sports betting; https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-11-26/trudeau-government-moves-to-legalize-single-event-sports-betting

Positions:

166K worth, 100% of portfolio.
Personally, I am long $166k in DMYD stock, and have no intention of selling anytime soon. Always do your own DD, but I hope this post helps. PT $18-20 EOM.
TLDR: Long DMYD as its a sleeping giant near NAV. There are currently no Arbs holding this down, so its primed to explode. Small float aswell. Only one competitor, Sportsradar. And SR is not even publically traded on any market.
Merger Q1 2021.
Market cap around $2B currently

Lockdown, things to do, help & advice.

Disclaimer I am posting this here because I got a message from the mods asking me to. I'm not from London so links aren't London centric (but hopefully still of help) and the main post is here so any updates will likely be there (I will try here but it's hard to keep up with the amount of suggestions)
Thanks.

_riotingpacifist wanted this links added, but I simply just don't have the time to vet and check all the suggestions here, so I will link as is:
Update:

EVRI: A Gambling Ticker That's Going to Valhalla

EVRI: The True Autists Gambling Ticker
Alright dipshits, I believe I have found a ticker that has huge growth potential over the next few months that is under the radar of many. So prepare your smooth brains and tell your wife's boyfriend to leave the room so you can jerk off to these potential gains.
EVRI is Everi Holdings Inc. Don’t know what that is? They’re only “the casino industry’s only single source provider of robust payments solutions, vital intelligence offerings, and engaging gaming machines that power the casino floor” according to Casino Vendors
(Source: http://www.casinovendors.com/vendoeveri-holdings-inc/)
Now if that doesn’t make your wife’s boyfriend cream his jeans, then the following information might just make your dick hard enough to satisfy your displeasured wife. I think that EVRI could see huge growth for the following reasons
EVRI has the versatility both online and on the floor for casinos
Taking a look at this source (http://www.casinovendors.com/vendoeveri-holdings-inc/) you can see that there products and services include…
  1. Gaming equipment and supplies: “Everi Games feature exciting original concepts, dynamic artwork, and thrilling game play that are designed to stop patrons in their tracks. Players seek out Everi’s award-winning games, cabinets, and toppers, and stream into casinos to play TournEvent® and TournEvent of Champions®”
  2. Cash/Chips/Money/Money Handling Equipment: “CashClub® gives operators an easy-to-use single dashboard interface that streamlines check warranties and credit/debit card transaction processing. The software’s enhanced features include electronic signature capture and dynamic currency conversion. CashClub interfaces with Everi Compliance, which helps casinos meet Title 31 requirements. CashClub works with a casino operator’s existing cage workstation equipment, removing the need for a separate stand-alone terminal.”
“CentralCredit™ - The industry’s leading repository for casino-related credit data and reporting. QuikMarketing™ - This tool lays the foundation for highly targeted, cost-effective, and successful direct marketing campaigns.”
and… “Intuitive, flexible & designed Kiosks to provide a premium experience to patrons.”
  1. Administration and Finance: “Everi Compliance™ has new and innovative compliance products expanding our ability to service patrons and casino customers. Our compliance products are the gold standard for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance across the gaming industry, which allows operators to easily meet Title 31 regulatory requirements.”
To see even more versatility and see what more specific services they provide, click this link https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/EVRI/profile?p=EVRI
Based off of these services alone, any one of you extra-chromosomes gamblers can see why EVRI is able to make money both online and on the floor, physical casinos. They make online gambling games, provide systems to protect casinos, design on the floor games, have products to transfer money in and out of debit/credit cards at the casino to feed the gambler, and even have business in reporting casino data and marketing campaigns. IF THIS ISN'T A COMPANY THAT DOESN'T DO EVERYTHING THEN IDK WHAT TO TELL YOUR SMOOTH BRAIN. They are immune to COVID and can be profitable with/without it.
EVRI has great target prices from analysts and even has potential news coming up that can propel us Valhalla
https://www.casino.org/news/everi-soars-on-digital-wallet-deal-with-winstar-casino/
“But Roth Capital analyst David Bain previously said two agreements with tribal operators notched by Everi account for 15 percent of the company’s fintech business and were going overlooked by investors.” This made the price target shift from $20 to $21 for this guy.
This same article said this about David Bain as well “Today’s surge by Everi stock may not be a one-off event. Bain, the Roth Capital analyst, says another customer will roll out CashClub Wallet in the coming weeks. He didn’t identify that operator, but he did say it’s one of the largest casino firms in the world. The analyst adds that on a standalone basis, Everi’s fintech basis is worth $16 a share. When accounting for peer average multiples on gaming device suppliers, the stock could trade near $29, or more than double where it resides today.”
I know some you have a hard time reading, but that means we could see news of EVRI’s own product (CashClub) be announced to be integrated in one of the largest casinos companies in the world. If that doesn’t scream PUMP, I don't know what does
EVRI also has fantastic news of expanding, incorporating, and even being recognized as the best in their field
Refer to this link on EVRI’s website with their Investors Information. You can scroll for minutes and find positive information everywhere including but not limited to.

EVRI’s option chain are cheap for long dated calls
Because I am writing this after hours, the options chain will most likely change come market open, but keep in mind, they will still be cheap.
Looking at January 20c and March 22.5c, they are .18 with a .05-.3 bid/spread and .2-.25.
Yeah yeah yeah, I know what you’re thinking “oH tHE BiD aSK SpREad is TOO wIdE”. But if you guys seriously think the bid/ask spread is what has limited your autistic trades up to this point, then you’re just lying to yourself. Get your order filled, because were making fucking tendies.
THE MEME POTENTIAL OF THIS STOCK IS PERFECT FOR US RETARDS
Is there anything that is more ironic than a bunch of degenerate gamblers gambling on a gambling company that is so revered in the gambling industry that it’s not even a gamble? FUCK NO THERE’S NOT.
WE ARE MADE FOR THIS TICKER, AND AS AUTISTS AND GAMBLERS WE NEED THIS PLAY. As many of you know, once a ticker catches fire in this sub it gets HUGE coverage. Look for yourselves at the countless memes and videos of WSB getting coverage on Cramers shows and news outlets. Is Golden Matrix Group $GMGI About To Surprise Wall Street?

-Golden Matrix, a B2B gaming and sports betting software platform provider with a turn key solution to all customer needs for successfully operating and maintaining an online gaming/sports betting website.
-Golden Matrix has recently filed an application for a Nasdaq Capital Markets Uplist with approval pending.
-Golden Matrix and Playtech announced a collaboration agreement that has just kicked off this month including GMGI's all new Esports & Peer2P apps.
-Golden Matrix reached an agreement with Amelco Gaming to distribute Amelco's leading international sports betting software white labeled in the APAC Region.
-Knutsson Holdings Invests $5M with GMGI purchasing 1 Million shares at $5.00 each.
What is Golden Matrix?
Golden Matrix Group GMGI is a very unique part of the online gambling industry that doesn't get much recognition compared to the actual sports betting companies and casinos, such as Draftkings DKNG or BetMGM. Draftkings for an example is a front-end operator Business to Consumer (B2C), they are what the consumer sees on the app. Where on the other hand, GMGI is the back-end white labeled software platform, Business to Business (B2B). GMGI has everything provided to convert a land based brick and mortar casino to an online casino, including everything from data analytics, games, game management, payment gateways, currencies, languages, 24/7 tech support and more. So what I'm trying to say is Golden Matrix has everything required to setup an online casino or sports betting application. With what's going on in the world today, an online presence is a must. So this is how GMGI and GAN type companies differ from the rest of the online gaming world, as their work is mainly behind the curtains, but are needed in order to run an online casino or sport betting platform.
Seeing Golden Matrix is not a front-end B2C retail casino, they do not have to pay hundreds of thousands or even millions to advertise. As a matter of fact they don't have to pay anything, which in turn keeps the operating expenses nice and low. They make their money by setting up operators at no cost and make their money licensing the front-end casinos, usage, and providing services. It's much more low key, and they don't have to be the bank like all the front end companies such as Draftkings, BetMGM, Bet365, etc...
Continuous Revenue Growth
Here's a brief summary on Golden Matrix's more recent growth. Just since last January (2020) they have grown their operators (Casinos) from 150 to 457 of them today, a 205% Increase, and Registered End Users from 1.5M to 3.9M today, a 160% Increase in the same time frame. Those numbers to me show solid company growth, and the quarterly financials reflected from this growth as Q1 Revenues were $882K, Q2 $1.04M, Q3 $1.49M, and Q4 is expected to exceed $1.7M as quoted by Golden Matrix. Those quarterlies show me that they have grown their revenues by nearly double in the year 2020. I'm expecting these revenues for last year will total approximately $5.1M+ and can do another easy double in 2021 if not more $10.2M+ On top of all this solid core growth GMGI has also been able to maintain profitability for the past nine consecutive quarters, while growing out their top end numbers. The gross profit last quarter (Q3) was 58% and the net income was only roughly $40K. In my opinion this is a good thing considering the competition GAN who trades in the Nasdaq, lost $4.1M during that same third quarter. Profit is profit, which is an complete rarity in this sector. I'm looking forward to seeing the Q4 numbers on or before the March 15th 2021 deadline.
Nasdaq Capital Markets
Golden Matrix filed an application to uplist onto the Nasdaq Capital Markets on August 27th 2020, and are still currently pending approval as it seems to be a very complicated and tedious task jumping all the way from OTC Pink Sheets to Nasdaq. Us GMGI long shareholders have seen many tasks from the company performed over the past 5+ months that come out in 8K filings, such as amending financial reports to Nasdaq formatting, and even creating a audit committee to meet qualifications just as of last week (01-26-21). As for now Golden Matrix is still a hidden gem as much of Wall Street doesn't know about GMGI or can't trade GMGI due to many buying restrictions. I think soon this will change and no longer be hidden with the arrival of up list.
Playtech and Golden Matrix Deals
Playtech and Golden Matrix went began a collaboration agreement around the end of November 2020 that is set to kickoff sometime this month (February). You can find this easily under recent GMGI news right on the company website. What the deal consists of is beneficial to both of them, as Golden Matrix newly designed and built a Esports betting app, Peer2P Betting Games, and a new Artificial Intelligence System (AI-X). Golden Matrix is letting Playtech PTEC.L use and distribute these applications and software exclusively to all of their new and future customers. Playtech is a market leader when it comes to gaming software and technology. Playtech granted non exclusive rights to distribute their most popular games including live dealer games, slots, table games, bingo, and poker to Golden Matrix's 450+ current operators throughout their APAC Region territories. This deal will be very beneficial for Golden Matrix as their foot print will reach the U.S. and European territories through Playtech, who is all over the world, and some states in the U.S. including very popular New Jersey. I expect we may see a significant increase in the top and bottom line growth for Golden Matrix through this significant collaboration deal.
Amelco Sports Betting Distribution Deal
One more recent larger deal was made with Amelco who's out of England U.K. and basically it gives Golden Matrix distribution rights of their premium sports betting software platform where they will offer it throughout their territories in the APAC Region to their 450+ Operators and future ones as well. I think this is a major deal because they will now become a stronger company by providing both Igaming and Sports Betting software vs just having igaming alone. I think this will not only attract more usage from the current 457+ operators and 3.9M end users, but will also have more future operators wanting to do new business with Golden Matrix being a dual distributor of both Igaming and Sports Betting. More customers equals more revenues, which is what we all want to see from any good growing company.
GMGI Obtained a European Gaming License
Golden Matrix recently acquired a Alderney Gaming License in which their CEO Brian Goodman sold to the company though another privately owned company that was holding this license. He sold this license at cost to Golden Matrix. From my understanding there's many benefits to owning this license, and it's not easy to obtain. Playtech their newly partner also holds this same gaming license, along with many other big name casinos. It seems as if GMGI will be expanding from just the APAC Region alone, and now into the European Region as well. Us shareholders didn't receive a lot info on the exact game plan, but it sounds like some expansion into the European Region. I'm looking forward to hearing more about their game plan hopefully in the near future. Europe is the largest gambling market in the whole world, and right under it is the Asia Pacific Region. Let's see what this European Alderney Gaming License has in store for us in the near future.
$5 Million Equity Investment
Just last week Golden Matrix announced they received a $5M equity investment from a strategic Swedish based gaming investor Knutsson Holdings AB. They purchased one million units which consists of 1M restricted shares at $5.00 USD each, and a warrant with a exercise price of $6.00 a share. They only can exercise the warrants once the GMGI share price exceeds $10 a share for a minimum of 10 consecutive trading days. This was all announced when we were trading around $5.50 a share and will only only dilute the outstanding share count from 21.7M shares to 22.7M shares (4.4%) which is minor. This deal brought me that much more confidence in GMGI, because not only did this investment firm valuate the company currently over $5 a share, but they know its worth more as they have been around the block dealing with gaming companies since 1963 (50+ years). They are also the largest shareholder of popular company NETENT who was recently acquired by Evolution Gaming, and are invested in many other gaming companies. Check them out. This deal puts GMGI outstanding shares to 22.7M with a super low share float that's under 12M shares and a low market cap around $116M USD while currently trading in the low $5 a share price range. Ask yourself this one question, if Knutsson Holdings doesn't even get to purchase their other 1M shares for $6M until the price exceeds $10 a share, don't you think they have good confidence GMGI will surpass this price in the near future? I very well believe so, as they have solid growth, and many new business deals into play for this Quarter (Q1) and beyond.
Possible Acquisitions On The Horizon
I personally have very high expectations for Golden Matrix this year including a up list approval onto the Nasdaq Capital Markets Exchange, major new revenue growth from the partnerships mentioned earlier, and of course building their core business stronger then ever. Also if you checkout all the last dozen press releases from the company, the CEO has mentioned several soon to be announced partnerships and possible synergistic acquisitions many times. Now with Golden Matrix sitting on a pile of cash on hand ($10M+) and staying profitable for the past nine consecutive quarters and counting, they could be in a great position to acquire something beneficial for the companies overall top and bottom line growth. I'm keeping my eyes peeled open short term to see what they do on their next move with $10M+ cash, no debt, and being cashflow positive, which is a rarity in this sector as most are bleeding millions of dollars in losses quarter after quarter! I believe with the current $116M Market Cap, 22.7M Outstanding shares, Low <12M share float and the anticipated future growth, this share price around $5.00 is undervalued and a true bargain BUY.
My Position
I hold a long position of GMGI here, and plan to continue holding for the next 3-5 years as the online gambling industry is expected to grow exponentially for quite some time with more and more legalization throughout the U.S. and many other locations. Online gambling will only continue to grow larger and larger yearly. Do some DD on GMGI and you may become a long shareholder like myself.
Note: All of the info provided above including financials can be found on the Golden Matrix website in the investors section.

$GME Governance Board - Why are they Silent?

There are some heavy hitters on GME's Board and in the C-Suite. IMHO, the company should have spoken out about what's happening regarding their stock. They should also have a plan to address changes in the marketplace re Covid19, the push for digital and cryptocurrency, etc. Positive statements from them would improve the stability of the stock.
Why have they been silent throughout this entire event? Wouldn't they speak out against the disparaging remarks from various HF reps in recent weeks which have negatively impacted the value of the stock? Or, do they agree with the HFs that the stock is worthless, which would suggest that GME is behind a pump and dump which has enriched them and left us holding the bag? This is the kind of letter we need to send, en mass, to the Chairman of the Board: Kathy Vrabeck, and to the media.
